Nompilo Maphumulo Biography
Nompilo Maphumulo is a South African actress born in KwaMashu, Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal. She is popular for playing the role of Nosipho on the SABC1 drama series Uzalo. Besides her rise in the acting industry, she is also a philanthropist.
Nompilo Maphumulo Education and Career
According to our sources, Nompilo Maphumelo could not continue her education after writing her matric exams. Due to some reasons, she applied for a job as a waitress and a telesales agent as well. She started playing Nosipho on SABC1 drama series Uzalo in 2015. Before her debut on the show, she also played many other characters in other movies. She played Thandeka in Sugar Daddies, Commander in The Legend will never die and Ensamble in President Musical.
Nompilo Maphumelo performed in theatre plays too. She was involved in The Serpent’s (Woman), The Weeping Candle (Macebi), Madame.
She is not only an actress; Nompilo Maphumelo is also an MC , Motivator , Voice Over Artist, and Character Model. As a young girl, Nompilo was very much involved in community uplifting projects in her township. She works very closely with the KwaMashu Community Advancement Projects which aims at nurturing young people’s talents for future employment.
